Right after the bride walked down the isle and everything was silent, Connor decided it was too quiet. He stood in the middle of the grassy isle and put his hands on the outsides of his pants. Right away Ken and I looked at each other and said "oh no please don't"....But he did. He started pulling off his pants and said "potty, potty, potty". He doesn't stop saying it until someone takes him potty. It was the last time I saw Ken and Connor until after the wedding. We all had a wonderful time though, it was perfect having it on the course, the kids were able to just run free and Connor cried so hard when it was time to go!
Joe and Vanessa's wedding
We just got back from Eastern WA where we attended Joe and Vanessa's wedding on the golf course. The day was beautiful and we all had a wonderful time. Luckily Ken is able to schedule his busy travel around big test and finals week so we have been lucky as far as that goes and I have been putting in lots of hours studying. This quarter took a lot of time and energy out of me so I am taking a break from volunteer work and will resume in the fall. I am taking a more advanced class this summer so I needed all the extra time possible for family and studying! We are off to Seattle next week to visit uncle Jack and aunt Kim who are taking on the challenge of watching Connor so Ken and I can enjoy a nice steak dinner!
Connor is growing like a weed and continues to amaze us with his independence and motor skills. He now goes up and down the stairs with no help from anyone (nor will he accept help). One of his first sentences was very fitting, "I want more", and yes, he now says "I want chocolate". We are all doing really well and excited for some sunshine finally!
